The Company completed the sewage treatment works with 16.5 million yuan through multi-channel fund-raising in 1996, 1997, and 1998, and obtained the “acceptance certificate of treatment facilities in the Shandong undertaking treatment project within a prescribed limit of time” issued by the Shandong Provincial Environmental Protection Bureau in November 1999. To completely solve the production pollution, the company achieved the thorough change in product raw materials from straw pulp to commercial pulp in 2002 and became specialized in various high-grade specialty papers.
